Kosovo and Luxembourg Strengthen Partnership with New Financial Pact

Kosovo and Luxembourg signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen ties. The Prime Minister’s Press Office shared details of the deal in a media statement.
Besnik Bislimi, Acting First Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, signed the agreement. Xavier Bettel, Luxembourg’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, also signed the document.
The agreement confirms Luxembourg’s continued financial support for Kosovo. From 2026 to 2030, Luxembourg will provide €50 million. This amount increases the €35 million granted in the previous deal.
Officials signed the memorandum during the 10th Kosovo–Luxembourg bilateral meeting. The agreement highlights several key sectors:
Skills development for sustainable employment
Healthcare improvement
Inclusive and sustainable economic growth
Civil society empowerment
The agreement strengthens the partnership and supports Kosovo’s development goals.
