Serbia and Kosovo agreed on the European plan and this development is considered historic by Prime Minister Edi Rama. He describes it as a historical moment and the right path to the future.

“Peace and cooperation are the key to the future that we owe to our children in this region destroyed for centuries by the lack of peace and cooperation. I welcome the consent of the two parties for the Agreement on the normalization path between Kosovo and Serbia.

This is an important milestone for regional peace and I strongly encourage all parties involved to continue working for a speedy implementation. For peace and cooperation, Albania is and will remain a believer and a role model. We fully support any effort to overcome the past.

I wish that no one accuses Albin Kurti of betrayal or forgetfulness, but that everyone understands that today’s prime minister of Kosovo has done the right thing, taking a very important first step towards getting out of yesterday’s trap. Other steps should follow without wasting time”, writes Rama on Twitter.
