Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani sent condolences following the sudden death of Albanian journalist, analyst, and intellectual Artur Zheji.

President Osmani expressed her sorrow over the loss and called Zheji one of the boldest voices of free thought in the Albanian-speaking world. She noted that he left a significant gap in the country’s public, media, and intellectual life, along with a valuable professional and moral legacy.

She highlighted his work documenting the consequences of the genocidal Serbian regime in Kosovo, calling him a voice of truth and a defender of human dignity.

President Osmani extended sincere condolences to Zheji’s family, friends, colleagues, and the media community. She emphasized that his life and work would remain unforgettable and inspire future generations.
