Kosovo sends to European Commission the draft of reform agenda on Growth Plan

After an intensive work, Kosovo has sent the draft narrative and agreed-upon agenda table of reforms regarding the Growth Plan to the European Commission, which will soon be approved at the governmental level.
Deputy Prime Minister Besnik Bislimi stated that Kosovo is the first country in the region to have completed this step and has sent this document to the EU, demonstrating commitment to advancing the European integration process.
Key sectors affected include good governance and public administration, transitioning towards renewable energy and digitalization, developing the private sector and business environment, human capital development and preservation, and law enforcement, with around 30 reforms and over 100 activities planned over a period of 3-4 years, Bislimi wrote on Facebook.
According to him, the next step is finalizing the list of projects, where work is ongoing in negotiations and consultations with EU institutions.
Elsewhere, Kosovo, which is under EU punitive measures, is expected to benefit from the Growth Plan with around 945 million euros, which will be used to implement reforms and investment projects.
