Kosovo-Serbia, the dialogue continues next week at the level of chief negotiators

The spokesperson of the European Union, Peter Stano, has confirmed that next week a meeting will take place within the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue.
The meeting will be at the level of chief negotiators. Thus, the chief negotiator of Kosovo, Besnik Bislimi, and his counterpart from Serbia, Petar Petkovic, will meet in Brussels.
According to Stano, the next meeting will take place at the invitation of the European facilitator and is intended to “advance everything that was agreed in Ohrid as well as to start the next steps towards the implementation” of the agreements.
Next week’s meeting will be the first after the Ohrid meeting where Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti and Serbian President Aleksandër Vucic agreed on the implementation plan of the agreement on the road to normalization of relations between the two countries, reports RTK.
According to the spokesperson Peter Stano, now the focus should be on the implementation of the agreement reached, and this is also a request of the leaders of the EU countries, who at last week’s summit asked the parties to implement all the dialogue agreements.
At the same time, Stano warned that in the future there will be meetings of leaders within framework of the dialogue, but that the European Union will organize these at the right moment.
