Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Gërvalla: Vucic Cannot Hinder the Creation of a Better Future in Kosovo

Kosovo’s Foreign Minister, Donika Gërvalla, has rejected Serbia’s accusations, asserting that no one has excluded Serbs from Kosovo’s institutions. She noted that Serbs have begun to integrate into the state’s institutions and expressed hope that this trend will continue.
“The threats directed at those participating in this process, particularly from criminal organizations and directly from Belgrade, will not deter those who wish to live in a free and democratic Kosovo,” Gërvalla stated.
“Serbia has pressured individuals to abandon these institutions and has threatened those who refuse to leave, making it difficult for them to remain in Kosovo’s institutions,” she added during her concluding remarks at the UN Security Council meeting on UNMIK’s report in New York.
Gërvalla further asserted that “Vucic’s recent threats and measures, which have been criticized by the EU, will not prevent the creation of a better future in Kosovo.”
