Kosovo’s President Vjosa Osmani met with NATO Assistant Secretary General, Ambassador Boris Ruge, in New York.

During the meeting, Osmani reaffirmed Kosovo’s commitment to joining NATO. She also expressed gratitude for NATO’s ongoing support in the country.

“This meeting allowed me to highlight the appreciation of the people of Kosovo for NATO’s continuous contribution, as well as our firm commitment to membership in the North Atlantic Alliance,” Osmani wrote.

Osmani is in New York this week for high-level meetings with international counterparts and official activities during the UN General Assembly Week. The Assembly runs from September 22 to 30.
