Kosova Security Force (KSF) has carried out a conditional march with 215 soldiers, from the “Minatori” barracks to the village of Frashër in Mitrovica, and has returned to the base. For this, the Force announced that the KFOR Battalion Commander and his staff, located at their base in Maxhunaj, were aware.

Marches are common activities of KSF units, and are carried out several times throughout the calendar year in different parts of Kosova.

“Kosova Security Force has conditional and tactical marches within the planned activities. In the wake of this, the Third Regiment of Ground Forces (R3KFT) has carried out the conditional march for which the KFOR Battalion Commander and his staff located at the KFOR base in Maxhunaj have been notified, informed the Kosova Security Force.

The 3rd Regiment of the KFT has successfully carried out this march.

“As part of the monthly training plan for the month of June 2023, dated 23.06.2023, R3K has carried out a 12 km march in the area of responsibility, Mitrovica area. The march was carried out starting at 0900L from the “Minatori” barracks in the direction of the villages of Bajr, Frashër i Vogël and Frashër i Madh. R3K participated in this march with a total of 215 members. The purpose of this march was to maintain and improve the physical readiness of the members of R3K”, it was announced in the announcement of the KSF.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Defense, Armend Mehaj stated that this is a regular march and has nothing to do with the current situation in the north of the country, while asking not to give another connotation to the march and not to believe the fake news.
