Kurti: Kosovo’s Future Is Oriented Toward the EU

Vetëvendosje leader Albin Kurti reacted one day after Kosovo’s elections, in which his party finished first.
Acting Prime Minister Kurti said Kosovo’s future is firmly oriented toward the European Union, KosovaPress reported.
On the X platform, Kurti thanked all citizens who voted. He also thanked everyone who helped ensure a free, fair, and incident-free electoral process.
“Yesterday, the people of Kosovo once again gave us a strong mandate,” Kurti wrote. “It is always an honor to earn the people’s trust, especially after completing the first full term in the country’s history.”
He expressed gratitude to voters and to all those who safeguarded the integrity of the elections. He also thanked the international community for its support, including the European Union, individual countries, and international organizations.
Kurti gave special thanks to sister parties and the broader progressive movement. He said they remain committed to building a society where dignity and public well-being come first.
“Kosovo’s future is prosperous and firmly oriented toward the European Union,” Kurti wrote.
After preliminary results were processed on the Central Election Commission platform, LVV won 49.30% of the vote.
