Kurti meets EBRD to advance €400 million investment portfolio

Albin Kurti, Prime Minister of Kosovo, together with Finance Minister Hekuran Murati, met with representatives of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).
During the meeting, the parties discussed deepening cooperation between the Government of Kosovo and the EBRD. In particular, they focused on advancing infrastructure projects and implementing the Memorandum of Understanding signed in 2024. The agreement foresees an investment portfolio of up to €400 million by 2027.
They also reviewed priority projects in road infrastructure, wastewater systems, water supply, energy efficiency, and public transport. In addition, they explored opportunities to sign new financing agreements in 2026–2027.
Kurti thanked the EBRD for its continued support for Kosovo. Moreover, he stressed the importance of the partnership in delivering strategic projects that improve infrastructure and public services for citizens.
Meanwhile, EBRD representatives reaffirmed their readiness to continue close cooperation with Kosovo’s institutions, supporting development projects and economic reforms.
