Kosovan Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, during his visit to Berlin, met with the German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Kurti stated that this meeting evidenced the strong bilateral relations and the common vision as a social-democrat for the development and increase of welfare in both countries.

Kurti met chancellor Scholz on the sidelines of the German SPD Party Congress.  

“Strengthening cooperation within the political family of the left social democratic spectrum was the focus of the conversation with the General Secretary of the Socialist International, Benedicta Lasi, and the Chairman of the SPD and also a member of the German Bundestag, Lars Klingbeil,” wrote the Kosova Prime Minister.

According to Kurti, another focus of the conversation at the meeting was the situation in the Western Balkans, the dialogue process and Kosova’s commitment to the European integration.
