Kurti: On January 1, 2024, citizens of Kosovo will travel without visas to EU countries

Prime Minister Albin Kurti has declared in Bled, Slovenia that on January 1, 2024, all citizens of Kosovo will travel visa-free to EU countries.
During the dinner hosted by the Prime Minister of Slovenia, Robert Golob, Kurti emphasized the importance of implementing the agreements reached last year in the Berlin Process.
“On January 1, 2024, all citizens of the Republic of Kosovo will travel visa-free to European Union countries, while visas will be required for Bosnia and Herzegovina. In these 50 days remaining before the Summit in Tirana, it is important to start the full implementation of the three agreements we signed in Berlin”, said Kurti.
The Prime Minister of Kosovo arrived on Sunday (August 27) in Slovenia for the two-day Strategic Forum that started today with the theme “Solidarity for Global Security”.
Kurti also welcomed the calls of his counterpart Golob and the president of the European Council, Charles Michel, to focus on the expansion of the European Union as well as the opportunities for the countries of the Western Balkans.
