Lajcak after the meeting with Osmani and Kurti: We agreed on the three points presented by the EU

The Envoy of the European Union for the Kosova-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak stated after the meeting with President Vjosa Osmani and Prime Minister Albin Kurti that he had an understanding to move forward with the three points presented by the EU.
The three points are related to the escalation of the situation in the north of Kosova, the new elections and the return to normality between Prishtina and Belgrade.
“It is not an easy task, nor an easy situation. I had important meetings with President Osmani and Prime Minister Kurti. We had a long, honest and very important discussion.
I have to choose the words, there is an understanding of the need to move forward in the three points presented by the EU, i.e. enlargement, new elections and return to normalization,” Lajcak specified for the media after the meeting.
Lajcak has stated that they have agreed with Kurti and Osmani to continue discussions on the de-escalation of the situation in the north of the country.
“We still have to continue the discussions about the concrete steps that need to be taken. He has presented his views, I have mine. The meeting was long, but very important to understand each other’s positions better, but we have agreed to continue,” Lajcak emphasized.
