The EU’s special emissary for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajçak, said that the EU and the USA are on the same line as far as the Western Balkans are concerned.

Lajcak made these comments after the meeting with the senior adviser of the US State Department, Derek Chollet, and the US special emissary for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar.

“Always useful to reconfirm that we share the same reading of the situation in the Western Balkans and we are on the same line regarding the way forward”, he wrote in “X”.

These statements of Lajcak come a day after the conference of the prime minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, who accused him of bias towards Serbia in the dialogue.
