Miroslav Lajcak, the European Union Special Representative for the Belgrade-Prishtina Dialogue, met with James O’Brien, Assistant Secretary of the Bureau of European and Eurasian Affairs at the US State Department, to discuss developments in the Western Balkans.

“It is always a pleasure to host Mr. O’Brien in Brussels. We discussed the current developments in the Western Balkans and our expectations for the near future,” Lajcak wrote on Platform X.

Two days ago, Lajcak traveled to Strasbourg upon invitation from members of the Council of Europe, where he briefed on the dynamics and developments of the dialogue for the normalization of relations between Kosova and Serbia.
