Lajcak: Separate talks with top Belgrade and Pristina negotiators

The European Union’s special envoy for the belgrade-Pristina dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, has announced that during the past few days in Brussels, he and his team had been preparing for the upcoming special talks with the main negotiators of Belgrade and Pristina.
Lajcak, in reviewing last week’s activities that he posted on his Facebook page, said that he had an open exchange of opinions with members of the Commission for European Affairs of the German Bundestag, who, as he said, are committed to the European future of the region.
“We talked about the new impetus for EU enlargement and I informed them about the state of dialogue and the next steps. I am grateful to Germany for the strong support of my work, its involvement in the Balkans and its commitment to the European future of the entire region,” Lajcak said.
