The European Union has confirmed that the Special Envoy for the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, will meet separately with the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, during their stay at the Davos Economic Forum, which starts on Monday in Switzerland.

That was confirmed for RTK by EU spokesperson Peter Stano, who has emphasized that no tripartite meeting is expected between the three officials.

“A joint meeting related to the dialogue, such as a high-level or similar one, has not been planned”, Stano emphasized.

Meanwhile, this year’s summit held in Davos is expected to be attended by leaders from around 100 countries of the world as well as international organizations.

The theme of this year’s summit is rebuilding trust. US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, French President Emanuel Macron as well as leaders of Middle Eastern countries are expected to hold talks on the war in Gaza, but meanwhile the war in Ukraine will also be at the top of the agenda of the talks that will held by the world elite.
