“Logu i Bjeshkes”, an ethnocultural manifestation, turned into a long-standing tradition since 1998

“Logu i Bjeshkes”(Mountain Valley), an ethnocultural manifestation, turned into a long-standing tradition in the wonderful nature of Kelmendi, in the Predelec Pass, where hundreds of attendees who come from different areas of the country but also from outside Albania enjoy not only the beauties of the mountains but also experience the beauty of a spectacle where the most beautiful “fairy” of the Albanian Alps was selected with the characteristic centuries-old dress, the jubleta.
There were songs of folklore performed in this activity assessed as the cultural wealth of the region, sung by well-known artists of Highlands, where there was no lack of humor and dance. The municipality of Koplik for this year was also the organizer and the main supporter of the “Logu i Bjeshkes”, the activity where tradition and the new combine so beautifully.
At the end of the show, the jury selected the most beautiful girls for this year. Dila Bunja was declared Miss Bjeshka 2022, while Melisa Durgaj was ranked second and Dorina Keqaj was third.
“Logu i Bjeshkes” with the serious commitment of its organizers for many years has made it take on the dimensions of a traditional national festival where in recent years the beauty of this cultural event is added by the panoramic road, one of the most beautiful in our country, completely reconstructed from Shkodra to Vermosh where everyone has the opportunity to contemplate the beauties of Leqe Hoti through the panoramic balcony, the center of Tamara, the waterfall of Selca as well as the magic of Lepusha.
“Logu i Bjeshkes” is a cultural manifestation that takes place every year since 1998 on the second Saturday of August in the village of Lepushë in Kelmendi in the place called Qafa e Predelec. This is a very good opportunity for the people to get to know the traditional clothes, songs and dances of Kelmendi.
