Prime Minister Edi Rama praised the success story of young entrepreneur Luis Hoxha, founder of the restaurant “Mado Sushi,” during the “FLASIM” podcast.

Rama said “Mado Sushi” has become one of the most visited restaurants in Tirana, calling it an example of success built through hard work and persistence.

He described the entrepreneur as someone who built his business independently, without institutional support, and succeeded through determination and vision.

Hoxha said the main challenge at the beginning was introducing a relatively unknown cuisine to the Albanian market. He noted that gastronomy in Albania has developed significantly in recent years.

He added that the restaurant now has a stable customer base, mainly from Tirana, Durrës, and nearby cities, with returning clients forming the core of its success.

Rama said the restaurant opened during a difficult period and later faced the challenges of the pandemic. He described it as a “story of the brave,” highlighting entrepreneurship as key to economic growth.

The prime minister concluded by calling “Mado Sushi” a strong success in Albania’s growing food and hospitality sector.
