The Mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama, started yesterday his two-day official visit to Tirana. Together with the Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj, Përparim Rama and the delegation that accompanies him on this first visit to the Albanian capital were at the National Experimental Theater “Kujtim Spahivogli” for the successful premiere “Me, Mephisto”, brought masterfully by the  joint troupe of actors from Tirana and Prishtina, with the extraordinary participation of Ema Andrea, Ilire Vinca, Ermir Jonka, Rafael Hoxhaj, etc ..

“How nice that we started the official visit of Përparim Rama in the city of Tirana with a theatrical work like “Mephisto”, so accomplished, by a troupe of actors from Tirana and Prishtina on the occasion of EYC2022. Bravo Ema Andrea, Ilire Vinca and the talented young people! This cooperation is a miracle! ” – writes today the mayor Veliaj.

The visit of the new Mayor of Prishtina, Përparim Rama continued today with an official reception in his office by the Mayor of Tirana Erion Veliaj.

In the official reception of his first visit as mayor in Tirana, Veliaj said that today opens a new page of cooperation between the two capitals.

“It is a great pleasure to welcome in the Municipality of Tirana my friend, my brother, the newly elected mayor of Prishtina, with new energies and an extremely positive spirit. It is indeed a day of rest, but there is no rest when you are the mayor. I am glad that this holiday we have an official visit, the first of Progress and his fantastic team in Tirana, to open a new page of our cooperation, where we work harder, connect and cooperate more intensively than never before,” he said.

Veliaj donated the Key of Tirana to the mayor of Prishtina. The two counterparts also inspected one of the most important technology investments in the capital, the Pyramid of Tirana, which will soon become the largest digitalization center in the Balkans.
