Prime Minister Albin Kurti spoke today about his meeting last week with CIA Director William Burns in Pristina.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti emphasized that the meeting went well and noted that Burns’ visit to Kosovo is a testament to the United States’ commitment to security and peace in Kosovo.

“The meeting went very well, and of course, we have cooperation with the United States, including with this extremely important intelligence and security institution, primarily through the Kosovo Intelligence Agency. I thank CIA Director William Burns for visiting our country, which is yet another proof of the United States’ commitment and care for security and the prevention of any security threat to our Republic, within the framework of the bilateral relations between the United States and Kosovo, and for peace, stability, and regional security in the Western Balkans,” Kurti stated.

Kurti made these remarks during the inauguration of the renovation of the Emergency Clinic at the University Clinical Center.
