Meeting with Lajcak, Kurti: committed to the full normalization of relations with Serbia

Kosovan Prime Minister, Albin Kurti has stated that he remains committed to the normalization of relations with Serbia.
After the meeting he and the first Deputy Prime Minister, Besnik Bislimi held with EU envoy, Miroslav Lajcak, Kurti emphasized that the government remains committed to the normalization of relations with Serbia and mutual recognition.
This meeting, according to the Prime Minister’s Office announcement, discussed about the aspects related to the full implementation of the Brussels Basic Agreement and the Ohrid Implementing Annex, and the legal certainty through their signature. The meeting also discussed about other topics and issues such as the observation of the legal procedures relative to the early elections in the four municipalities in the north of the country.
“The Government of the Republic of Kosova remains committed to the full normalization of relations with Serbia and the mutual recognition, through a process of equal, balanced and fair dialogue for the parties,” the announcement states.
After the joint meeting, there was also a meeting between Bislimi and Lajcak.
