One of Shakespeare’s most beautiful comedies has been staged on the ancient stage of the Durrës Amphitheater. Art lovers, residents of Durrës, but also vacationers who are there, had the opportunity to see a play, one of the best of the troupe of the Theater “Aleksandër Moisiu”, “”Midsummer night’s dream”.

Directed by Driada Dervishi, the comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” was the first to open the stage of artistic performances in the 2000-year-old amphitheater of the city of Durrës, for this summer season.

The cast of actors under the direction of Driada Dervishi consisted of well-known stage names such as Romir Zalla, Gentian Zenelaj, Suela Bako, Andia Xhunga, Mimoza Marjanaku, Adelina Muça, Amos Zaharia, etc. The actors climbed onto the stage of the ancient amphitheater, for 3 nights in a row, on June 21, 22 and 23.

Dressed in white, the moon in the background, Pak’s intrigues, fairy tricks and a dreamy nightmare, the comedy “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” came as a pleasant magic to the public.
