A ministerial meeting of the European Commission for Western Balkans Steering Platforms on education, training, research, innovation, and culture took place in Skopje.

Participating Albanian delegation from the Ministry of Economy, Culture, and Innovation focused on culture and cultural heritage, discussing initiatives for the protection and promotion of national cultural assets, as well as increasing mobility for artists and cultural professionals.

Blendi Gonxhja, Minister of Economy, Culture, and Innovation, highlighted programs like Creative Europe as successful examples of enhancing cross-border cooperation and empowering the creative and cultural industries in the region. He noted that the 2025-2027 program will provide numerous opportunities for Albanian artists and organizations.

The Albanian delegation also met with Nora Arapi Krasniqi, Senior Advisor to the Minister of Culture, Youth, and Sports in Kosova, discussing various activities and collaborations to be held during the Kosovo Cultural Week.
