Munich Security Conference / Greece raises the issue of the Sea. Rama and Micotakis agree that the sea border should be resolved in The Hague

Greece has returned to the table of discussions with official Tirana the issue of the maritime border with Albania. It was the Prime Minister of Greece who opened the discussion on the maritime demarcation with Prime Minister Edi Rama during their meeting at the Security Conference in Munich, Germany.
According to government sources, in the meeting between Prime Minister Edi Rama and his Greek counterpart, as they discussed the allocation of maritime space between the two countries, it is learned that they have strengthened the position of both countries to send this issue to the International Court of Justice in The Hague. “This strengthening of the position of the two prime ministers comes after the agreement reached between the two sides last year,” writes the Greek media.
According to the two prime ministers, this step will further consolidate relations between the two countries and increase security and co-operation in the region. Also, the Greek Prime Minister underlined the strong support of Greece in the European course of Albania, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the membership process.
