Albania will mark Museum Week 2026 from May 18 to 24. Museums, archaeological parks, and cultural heritage sites will welcome visitors with exhibitions, guided tours, art performances, and educational activities.

Minister Blendi Gonxhja said the event follows the ICOM theme “Museums Uniting a Divided World.” The initiative highlights culture as a bridge between people, cultures, and generations.

Museums and heritage sites across the country will host activities that bring the public closer to Albania’s history, identity, and cultural values. Organizers want to create an open and inspiring experience for all visitors.

Entry will be free on May 18, International Museum Day, and on May 21, the World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development.

Museum Week 2026 encourages citizens and tourists to rediscover Albania’s cultural heritage and shared traditions.
