The director of the National Library of Albania, Piro Misha, signed today a Memorandum of Understanding for Cooperation with Rahmetula Kuqi, the director of the National and University Library “St. Clement of Ohrid” of the Republic of North Macedonia.

This memorandum aims to foster cooperation in areas of shared interest, encompassing academic research, cultural dissemination, scientific collaboration within the field of librarianship, scientific research, and related fields including bibliography, scientific information, rare collections, and more.

Under this memorandum, collaborative cultural and scientific initiatives will be orchestrated, including conferences, exhibitions, joint publications, exchanges, and donations of publications. Both leaders of the National Libraries regard the signing of this memorandum as “highly significant, paving the way for robust bilateral cooperation.”
