The  annual award ceremony of announcing the winners of the National Literature Awards for 2022 was held by the National Book and Reading Center. Present at this event were the Minister of Culture Elva Margariti, writers, translators and publishers.

The jury has evaluated the writing pieces in several genres, announcing Stefan Çapaliku as the winner with the novel”An angel in tailcoat” as the best novel of the year; Olimbi Velaj with the book “Happiness of others” wins the award “Best poetic volume of the year”; Xhemal Lloshi wins the award “The best literary work of the year”; Behar Jacaj with the book “Hotel next to the Church” wins the “Best volume of stories” Award; Mira Meksi with “Autumn of the patriarch” wins the “Best Translation” Award; author Edi Gogo wins the “Best Children’s Book” Award.

The National Literary Awards are an early tradition created over the years to appreciate the best creations of a year by motivating and pushing forward the authors of the works.
