This museum reflects the history of Albanian writing, the multitude of alphabets up to the alphabet we have today, which was decided by Congress of Manastir (present day Bitola in North Macedonia) in 1908. Museum displays also the history of the Albanian book, from the first primer of Albanian language (Evetari, 1744), compiled by Naum Panajot Bredhi.
