Nikolla: The Serbian authorities should not escalate the situation

The Speaker of the Assembly, Lindita Nikolla, reacted to the developments in the north of Kosovo.
The Speaker of the Assembly Nikolla condemned the violence against the Kosovo police and EULEX and called for prudence between the two countries.
She emphasized that Prishtina’s moderation should be followed by Belgrade’s moderation.
“The developments in the north of Kosovo are worrying. Violence against the Kosovo police and EULEX is reprehensible. Kosovo authorities are showing responsibility and prudence. But these attitudes must be followed by the content of the Serbian authorities, so that the latter also show responsibility and contribute to preventing the escalation of the situation”, writes the speaker of the Assembly, Nikolla.
