North of Kosova, Lajçak: The three ways to get out of the crisis

The Special Envoy of the European Union for the Dialogue between Kosova and Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak, has stated that the situation in the north must be immediately escalated.
After the meeting with Prime Minister Kurti, together with the special envoy for the Western Balkans of the US, Gabriel Escobar, Lajcak emphasized that the international factor is deeply concerned about the crisis in the north of Kosova. For this reason, he presented the three ways to solve the situation, starting from the de-escalation of the situation on the ground, early elections and normalization of the situation through dialogue, Prishtina-Belgrade.
“Escobar and I met with Prime Minister Albin Kurti and the Deputy Prime Minister of Kosova, Besnik Bislimi. We are deeply concerned about the situation in the north and we call for immediate de-escalation on the ground, early elections with the participation of Kosova Serbs and a return to the Dialogue for normalization,” wrote Lajçak on Twitter.
