The Congress of the United States of America, through a letter sent to the American Secretary of State Antonthy Blinken, requests that the agreement that can be reached in the Ohrid meeting between Albin Kurti and Vucic respect reciprocity.

“This dialogue is designed to reach a final and legally binding agreement for the comprehensive normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia, including mutual recognition,” the letter states.

Also, in this letter, the Congress demands that the Association of Serbian Municipalities be created in the north, as well as suggests that one be created in the south of Serbia, for Presevo, Medveđa and Bujanovac.

“Recently it has been reported that an Association of Serbian Municipalities will be incorporated into the dialogue process to ensure the rights of the Serbian minority living in Kosovo.

I call on you to advocate for reciprocity and for a similar association for the Albanian community living in southern Serbia”, the letter addressed to Blinken reads.
