Berat is one of the cities that always has something to surprise you with. But who will travel these days until October 5 in this city, should also plan a visit to the Art Gallery of the city “Eduart Lear”. As part of the month of cultural heritage, the center of museums in  Berat, has opened an exhibition with about 50 photographs, all in the magnifying glass of foreigners.

Agron Polovina, director of museums in Berat, says: “This photographic exhibition is a series of carefully selected photographs of the city of Berat which are realized in a period of forty years about 100 or 120 years ago, by the master photographers, travelers, geographers and ethnographers, which were realized for the international magazines of that period. ”

Among the exhibited photos are 11 photos of landscapes and graphics by the British artist Eduard Lear, made in Berat in the middle of the XIX century.
