From today, Albania and North Macedonia have joint border control to facilitate the flow of goods and citizens.

Within the framework of the entry into force of the protocol between the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of Albania and the Ministry of the Interior of the Republic of North Macedonia for the Implementation of joint border control at the joint border crossing point Qafë Thana, Prime Minister Edi Rama will meet this Monday (July 31) with his North-Macedonian, Dimitar Kovacevski.

The meeting between the two leaders takes place in Qafë Thana area, where the joint border crossing point between the two respective countries will be presented.
