Open Balkan / Vuçiç and Zaev in Tirana on December 20 and 21 ! Significant agreement expected to be signed

The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic nd the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Zoran Zaev, will be in Albania on December 20 and 21, as part of the summit for the ‘Open Balkan’ initiative.
The news was announced by the Serbian media, while at the summit to be held in Tirana, a Memorandum of Understanding on work permits is expected to be signed.
This agreement would mean that a work permit issued in any of these three countries is valid for all members of the initiative, Serbia, North Macedonia and Albania.
Recall that the last meeting in the framework of the ‘Open Balkan’ initiative was held on November 4 in Belgrade, where the leaders reaffirmed the promise that there will be no more obstacles at the border for their people and that they will be able to move freely in all three countries. For the 3 leaders of the 3 countries “Open Balkan” is a movement that has only one goal, improving the lives of citizens.
The Regional Cooperation Initiative has also been supported by the United States and the EU. However, Kosovo, Montenegro and Bosnia and Herzegovina are not joining the initiative. The Government of Kosovo, led by Albin Kurti, thinks that the “mini-Schengen” initiative is a visionless initiative for the region.
