Open Balkans/ Vucic: The initiative has not harmed anyone! Kovacevski: The Wine Fair is an excellent opportunity for businesses

Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, in his speech during the first edition of the Wine Fair, stated that the Open Balkans has not brought anything bad to anyone. As he said that the Open Balkans has always had criticism, Vucic promises that the idea of the Open Balkans will continue and work even harder for all citizens.
” I have never seen a more beautiful fair than this one. I want to say something quite personal, before we declare this fair open, our idea has always had criticism, there were those who wanted to find the needle in the haystack. You cannot fight something that comes naturally, the Open Balkans has not brought anything bad to anyone, we will continue to work harder. We will work for Albanians, Macedonians and all citizens of Serbia”, said Vucic.
While the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski assessed the Wine Fair as an excellent opportunity. Kovacevski emphasized that this fair will become a tradition and will offer numerous opportunities for cooperation. Kovacevski further added that North Macedonia is the second wine exporting country in the region and the 29th globally.
“Today we have equal opportunities to present products at this fair and a great opportunity for business contacts at the international level. New agreements, through investing and expanding. I hope that this fair will become a tradition and offer more and more opportunities for cooperation. North Macedonia is the second largest exporter of wine in the region and the 29th in the world. We are increasing the export of bottled wine,” he said.
