Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, urges caution on Iber bridge opening.
During a discussion with journalists, Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs, Igli Hasani, was asked about the recent situation in Kosovo regarding the opening of the bridge over the Iber River. He stated today that “no steps should be taken without consultations and negotiations with allies, including Albania.”
“We have always been clear and consistent in what we have said. For us, the priority of our foreign policy is Kosovo, and we have always advised our brothers and sisters in Pristina that every step they take should first be discussed with those who care deeply for them,” Hasani emphasized.
Minister Hasani further stated, “They should discuss, debate, and negotiate with the countries and organizations that have contributed to making Kosovo the free and independent state it is today, including Albania. Every good deed is achieved by coordinating with those who hold Kosovo dear.”
