The President of the Republic of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Colombia, Luis Gilberto Murillo.

Osmani stated that both Kosovo and Colombia, along with many other countries around the world, recognize the deep pain caused by sexual violence during war.

“This weapon of war causes profound and often irreparable suffering. Cooperation and the exchange of experiences in strengthening the voices of survivors, as well as advancing the Women, Peace, and Security Agenda, were the focus of my meeting with Colombia’s Foreign Minister, Luis Gilberto Murillo,” Osmani wrote.
