Kosovo’s President, Vjosa Osmani, stated that gender equality in institutions leads to greater transparency and inclusiveness.

According to her, the more gender equality there is, the more effective the fight against corruption becomes.

The country’s head of state emphasized that gender equality should be a priority at all levels of Kosovo’s institutions.

She made these comments during the presentation of the report “The Gender Dimension of Corruption,” published by the Kosovo Institute for Justice. After the event, President Osmani declined to answer journalists’ questions regarding current political topics in Kosovo.
