Ramadan Sokoli, the musician, composer, writer and the first Albanian ethnomusicologist, who stands out as one of the greatest researchers of Albanian and Balkans music, has come with his work summarized in a very special way, with the title Piano Epic, played by pianist, Ardita Bufaj.

In a special evening dedicated to the composer Ramadan Sokoli, artistic personalities spoke about the values ​​he brought to Albanian music.

Throughout his life, Ramadan Sokoli was continuously engaged in studies in the field of musicology and folklore, managing to become one of the main authorities in this field.

At the Artistic High School, Sokoli has taught a number of different subjects such as flute, musical folklore, harmony, music history, musical theory, chamber music, etc.

The subject of musical folklore was included in the high school curriculum at his initiative, for which he wrote the relevant texts, which are still studied today.

He has also taught these subjects at the High Institute of Arts, today Institute of Arts, for 10 consecutive years, preparing relevant musical laboratories rich with diverse instruments.
