Prime Minister Edi Rama stated that Albania has achieved the highest Gross Domestic Product growth in the region over the past ten years.

Speaking during a live “Eye to Eye” session on social media, Rama focused on this key indicator of Albania’s economic development.

He noted that the country’s national output has more than doubled within a decade.

“Albania used to produce less than €10 billion in total, while in 2024 it reached €25 billion—two and a half times more,” Rama said.

To understand the significance of this figure, the Prime Minister emphasized the regional context, pointing out that Albania leads in GDP growth compared to other countries in the Western Balkans over the last decade.
