PM Rama from Brussels: EU Membership Now a Work Plan to Keep the Process Moving

TIRANA, November 17 – Prime Minister Edi Rama assured from Brussels that Albania will continue advancing with full intensity and discipline in its EU accession process.
After the seventh Albania-EU Intergovernmental Conference, Rama spoke at a joint press conference with Commissioner Marta Kos and Danish Foreign Minister Marie Bjerre.
Rama said Albania will ensure the accession process, built step by step with partners in Brussels and member states, does not stop. He added, “A year ago, opening all clusters seemed impossible. Today, it is a reality with a work plan guiding our daily efforts”.
He praised Kos and Bjerre for their support. Rama said Kos champions Albania’s accession and the Western Balkans, while Bjerre turned Danish Presidency words into action.
He added that he feels inspired by these months and the strong backing for enlargement and European unity.
