Pm Rama meets Greece’s foreign minister Dendias, discussions focused on bilateral relations

Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias held a meeting with Prime Minister Edi Rama. At the end of his visit to Tirana, in a post on Twitter, the Greek chief diplomat said that discussions with the head of the Albanian government focused on relations between the two countries, Albania’s European perspective and regional developments.

“At the end of my visit to Tirana, I met with the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama. At the center of the discussions were the bilateral relations, the European perspective of Albania and the regional developments “, writes Dendias.

The meeting with Dendias was also described by Prime Minister Edi Rama as a fruitful conversation in the interest of both peoples.

“With the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Greece Nikos Dendias, in a fruitful conversation on issues of interest that unite our peoples”, Rama writes while posting photos from the meeting with Dendias.

Earlier today (May 23), Dendias held a meeting with Foreign Minister Olta Xhaçka, where the two leaders shared the same opinion on the repeal of the Law of War. Dendias said that the two countries should cooperate so that the historic points for the repeal of the Law of War are closed as soon as possible.

Regarding the issue of the maritime border, Dendias said that they will soon submit the necessary documentation to the Hague Tribunal, following the agreement between our country and Greece that this issue be resolved on the basis of international law.
