The first Polyphonic Song Festival was organized by the “Labëria” association at the Lungomare amphitheater in Vlora.
Over 300 folk artists brought the folklore treasures of Albanian people.

 In this wonderful environment, a hundred meters from the sea, popular artists brought the sounds of heroic epics, ballads, old and new family lyrics, lullabies and characteristic women’s dances, just like the eagles of Tërbaci.

The organizers of the festival, with extraordinary concern and passion, managed to invite 24 polyphonic groups to the stage.

The polyphonic group of Piluri was awarded the first prize.
