“Porto Palermo Festival” is undoubtedly an added value in one of the most beautiful sites of cultural heritage”, said the Minister of Culture, Margariti on social networks, about the music festival which is taking place in the fortress of Vasiliqi, in Porto Palermo .

The festival, which has the support of the Ministry of Culture and the Italian Embassy in Tirana, extends over the weekends of the 1st month. It started in mid-July and ends on August 15.

Well-known artists from Albania, Kosovo and other countries will perform in this Festival, while the minister Elva Margariti singled out the performance of the singer Vikena Kamenica, who ” lit up the castle full of energy”.

Enrico Giaretta, an Italian singer-songwriter performed at the festival last night. Earlier, the beautiful castle of Vasiliqi, located in a strategic position of the peninsula, hosted Dren Abazi as well as the jazz music quartet “Ajs Quartet”.

This is the second edition of the Porto Palermo Festival.
