The President of the Republic, Bajram Begaj, reminded Prof. Eqrem Çabej, the most representative name of Albanian linguistics science in the 115th anniversary of his birth.

“I express all my respect and gratitude as the President of the Republic of Albania to Prof. Eqrem Çabej today on the 115th anniversary of his birth, whose life and work make our great academician the most representative name of Albanian sciences.

With the dedication, vision and hard work of the great patriot and outstanding intellectual, as a first class scientist, andt also as a scholar, thinker and brilliant pedagogue, Eqrem Çabej not only gave a scientific identity to Albanian academism, but what is more important opened up clear horizons by orienting it towards the right direction, in favor of the study and scientific argumentation of the autochthony of the Albanians in the lands of their ancestors, of the Illyrian-Albanian continuity, of the Illyrian ethno-genesis and the Illyrian origin of Albanians, ” President Begaj wrote in his message.

Further, head of State continued his message by saying that for everything he gave to our country, people and nation, Eqrem Çabej deserves and will forever deserve the respect and gratitude of Albanian generations for the centuries to come.
