President Bajram Begaj will pay an official visit to Kosovo today and tomorrow. He scheduled the visit to mark the 18th anniversary of Kosovo’s independence.

Media in Kosovo reported the visit after the Kosovo Police announced security measures. The police said they will maintain public order and regulate traffic during the president’s visit. They will escort the delegation and secure all official activities.

Moreover, officers will allow the motorcade to move freely along its route. On February 16 in the afternoon at the Vërmicë border crossing, and until the delegation returns on February 17 in the evening, police will temporarily stop traffic in short intervals on certain road segments.

In addition, authorities may redirect vehicles to alternative routes.
