President Osmani Attends Defender Europe 25: “Kosovo Is Ready for NATO”

President Vjosa Osmani attended the largest military exercise of the year in Kosovo, Defender Europe 25, led by the U.S. Army and NATO allies.
In a Facebook post, she said Kosovo is writing a new chapter in international military cooperation. Troops from Kosovo stood side by side with U.S. forces and NATO partners.
“Just two days ago, in the U.S., we discussed our shared vision for Europe’s defense. Today, that vision is in action—on our soil—through Defender Europe 25. This large-scale exercise shows our joint commitment to peace and security,” Osmani wrote.
Around 1,000 members of the Kosovo Security Force (KSF) are directly involved. They operate as equals alongside troops from the world’s most powerful armies.
Osmani sent a clear message: “Kosovo doesn’t just contribute—we are ready to join NATO.”
