President Osmani: Full Commitment for Strategic Dialogue with the U.S. to Resume Soon

President of Kosova, Vjosa Osmani, reacted after the United States suspended the strategic dialogue.
“The Strategic Dialogue was initiated by me in 2021 with a proposal to the American President. This proposal was reconfirmed in 2022 and finalized in January 2025 during my meeting with the State Department,” said Osmani.
She underlined that Kosova stands on unbreakable friendship with the United States. “This relationship is not only diplomatic, it is an existential part of our state and national identity,” she added.
Osmani recalled the latest letter from President Trump. “My commitment has always been steady, as confirmed many times by American leadership,” she stressed.
She called for unity. “The citizens of Kosova know their freedom became reality with decisive U.S. help. Without this historic friendship, we would never be where we are today,” said the President.
Osmani promised to continue close cooperation. “I will work with the United States for peace, stability, democratization, integrity, and the Euro-Atlantic future,” she declared.
Finally, she emphasized her goal. “The Strategic Dialogue is a precious mechanism. We will work with full dedication for it to resume soon, because partnership with the United States is both a guarantee for today and the safest compass for the future,” concluded Osmani.
