The President of Kosovo, Vjosa Osmani, met yesterday with the U.S. Chargé d’Affaires in Kosovo, Anu Prattipati.

In light of the letter received from President Trump, Osmani expressed deep gratitude for his support and his strong words on the partnership with Kosovo. She reaffirmed her unwavering commitment to work closely with President Trump to further deepen the alliance with the United States and advance shared strategic goals.

President Osmani praised the announcement made last week by U.S. Deputy Secretary Christopher Landau regarding the continuation of the MCC Compact in Kosovo. She said this step will significantly support the long-term and strategic development of the energy sector and help Kosovo integrate into the global digital landscape.

The meeting also covered concrete steps to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
